Advising

Badger Ready students are required to meet at least once a month for 30 minutes with their academic advisor. Your monthly meetings can be used to ask questions, discuss current courses, plan for future terms, talk about unexpected events and more. Transparency in communication is the backbone for monthly advising meetings.

I often showed up to our monthly check-in meetings with a laundry list oStudent with newbornf questions and a bunch of stress. By the time my meeting was over, I would feel exhilarated about my future and ready for whatever might be thrown at me.

Dean's Office

While you are in Special student status as a Badger Ready student, Adult Career and Special Student Services (ACSSS) is your academic dean’s office. If you are advised to speak with a dean, this refers to our office. Please reach out to your ACSSS advisor if you are advised to speak to a dean. They will help you connect with the dean for ACSSS.
